From time to time I have show dogs that decide they want to choose another way of life.
It is important to me that my dogs are happy.
Some who have chosen not to be a show dog, have gone onto more illustrious careers as lap dogs, nursing home/therapy dogs, and constant companions to those retired or working from home.
